The Kermode Family Skills Program meets the clients at the client level. Kermode Family Skills Workers value building a trust relationship with the clients, this trust is the foundation upon which the desired outcomes are achieved. Kermode Family Skills workers use respect of self, family and culture as core values within the program to ensure the clients and families grow and are nurtured in a safe friendly environment.
The Family Skills program works with parents who are referred by Ministry of Children and Family (MCFD) to achieve specific goals identified to support reunification of the family and or provide Supervised Access to parents whose children are in care with MCFD.
