About this service
The Extreme Weather Response (EWR) Program is operational during the cold wet weather months of the year; usually between November 1st and March 31st. This is a low barrier shelter providing up to 20 beds for persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs that may require access to food and shelter. The objective is to prevent persons from injury or death resulting from sleeping outside.
