About this service
Project Lavender is a program which aims to empower young women and girls to make positive choices, discover their self-worth, and surround themselves with healthy relationships.
This program was developed by the Surrey RCMP in collaboration with female youth from across the Surrey School District. The content of Project Lavender is a direct result of this youth consultation process.
The topics discussed in the Project Lavender presentation include texting and sexting, understanding sexual exploitation, drug and alcohol awareness, and healthy relationships. These themes are underscored by videos featuring local young women who have overcome adversity by following their passions.
