About this service
The Surrey Emergency Program is a citywide program that addresses the emergency management concerns of the city and communities. The SEP is responsible for emergency planning, preparedness, mitigation, response and recovery activities in the City of Surrey. The SEP works to plan, coordinate and test emergency and disaster response services. Administered by the Fire Department, it involves all city departments as well as the following volunteer organizations:
- General Volunteers
- Emergency Social Services
- Neighbourhood Emergency Preparedness Program
- Amateur Radio
- Search and Rescue
