About this service
We host a 50 bed shelter providing cots and warm blankets on a first-come-first-serve basis. In partnership with Nightshift Ministries, another 15 womens beds are added in extreme weather situations to harbour guests from the elements.
Shelter guests receive a dinner meal upon entry and sleep on cots with bedding provided by the shelter. The guests are able to take a hot shower and have their laundry washed while they are staying at SUMS. The shelter is run by dedicated staff and volunteers to ensure guests' safety and security at all times.
