About this service
The community connection workers and shelter support workers staff team are available 13 hours a day to provide advocacy, care and support to the community. The team is located inside the SUMS building but will also venture into the outlying areas to assist those in need. Services include:
Assistance with:
- BC Housing Support
- Income Assistance Applications
- Rental Subsidies and Housing Loss Prevention
- Government Issued ID acquisition and replacement
Referrals To:
- BC Housing
- Detox and treatment Centres
- Fraser Health Services
- Numerous other community resources and agencies
