About this service
This 90-day program provides safe, structured licensed residential addiction services. If you live in the Fraser Health Authority catchment area covering the communities from Burnaby to Boston Bar, you may qualify for the Phoenix Stabilization and Transitional Living in Recovery Program.
The program accepts applicants on opiate replacement therapies provided they are agreeable to being supervised by the Phoenix Centres sessional physician.
Services Include:
- Integrated case management
- Substance misuse awareness and education
- Individual and group counseling
- Relapse prevention and health promotion training
- Personal health care coaching
- Personal management skills
- Stress management
- Mindfulness
- Emotional management training
- Novel learning experiences to animate change including Humanities 101, creative writing, yoga, arts-based activities and volunteerism in the community
- Additional services provided by a sessional physician and a concurrent disorder therapist.
