About this service
When a family member is struggling with alcohol or drug addiction the rest of the family can find themselves at a loss for effective ways to help and be of support. In their attempts to help some family members can inadvertently be reinforcing the addicted persons using with codependent and/or enabling behavior. We are not here to blame or point fingers, but these type of maladaptive strategies must be addressed and adjusted. The good news about this is that once family members learn new more functional techniques they dont want to go back to the old way of doing things.
