About this service
The Step up program is designed for our 2.5 to 3 year old children, spaces are limited, we will work collaboratively with the Footsteps team and parents to determine the readiness of childrens transition into the Step Up program. We have especially designed a room that will cater to the needs of children who will transition into our 3 to 5 program. This program will prepare our toddlers to understand routine and self independent skills in greater depth. Areas of development will be awareness of washroom routines, self help skills of; dressing, eating, and transitioning from solitary, and parallel play, to group play, along with an introduction to the 3-5 age playground. Step Up implements a curriculum that encompases beginner early literacy, understanding of basic numeracy, exploration of process art, and sensory experiences.
