About this service
Embrace Clinic is a specialty medical clinic offering trauma informed medical care for survivors of recent violence including sexual assault, partner violence, exploitation, trafficking and family violence. We are not a counselling service. During COVID-19 we are located only in Surrey. Same day or next business day appointments available. Services offered: concussion management, post-strangulation assessment, modified forensic exams, STI testing and treatment, pregnancy testing (unbiased options counselling), medical termination of pregnancy under 9 weeks, rapid HIV tests, prescriptions as appropriate, wound care, vaccinations, pap tests, contraceptive implants and IUD insertions (including emergency copper IUD insertions). Monthly pap clinic for any woman by appointment. We cannot take on patients as regular health care providers or complete forms for social assistance or disability.
