About this organization
We believe that our mission statement, Educating for Wholeness by Engaging Gods World in the Servant Way of Jesus, is an invitation for our students and staff to partner with God in the restoring of his Kingdom, in the making of all things new. At Surrey Christian School, we practice making learning centered classrooms in which both the teachers and students have important roles to play in fulfilling our mission statement. Teachers design learning experiences that invite and nurture students to connect the curriculum to Gods story; and that empower our students to practice justice seeking, community building, and God worshiping while they explore their roles as scientists, historians, athletes, musicians and writers.
