About this organization
Academy of Autism and Speech Therapy and its team of knowledgeable Speech Therapists provide speech, language and social communication therapy to clients of all ages.
We are located in Maple Ridge and serve neighbouring communities including Pitt Meadows, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Abbotsford, Mission and Chilliwack.
Academy of Autism and Speech Therapy specializes in pre-school and school-aged assessment and intervention. The majority of our clients have been diagnosed with Autism, PDD-NOS and/or Aspergers, as well as speech and/or language delay.
We use a client-centered therapy approach; all therapy is individualized based on the clients needs. Younger clients may benefit from a play-based approach, whereas older clients excel with more formal approaches. Our goal is to keep the client comfortable and engaged while teaching the appropriate skills.
