About this service
On call 24/7 to respond when needed to fires, motor vehicle crashes and other rescue type incidents with the primary objective to protect life, property and the environment to the best of their ability. Firefighters, as well as maintaining the operational readiness of all apparatus and equipment, attend a minimum of two hours per week in-house training and give up many weekends and additional evenings for scheduled training sessions both on and off the Sunshine Coast.
