Food Bank Resource Centre

The Summerland Resource Centre strives to serve as a one-stop source of information and assistance to Summerland residents in times of need. The Centre is operated by the Summerland Food Bank and includes the following services: Drop-in information centre. Come in, pick up a coffee and browse the information library or chat to our experienced staff and volunteers; Free Internet Service. use our computer workstations and printer. Conduct your own research on the web, develop and print your own application forms, resumes or job applications, send and receive email and more; Referral Services. Pick up application form sets for a variety of social services with assistance from our staff and volunteers. Discover what services are available to meet your specific needs and let our staff put you in touch with the right people; Meet representatives of social service agencies. Some Penticton service providers send their representatives to Summerland to meet with you locally. The Resource Centre provides office space for these meetings. Appointments should be made with the specific agency whenever possible. If you are having difficulties making appointments or are unsure which agency to contact please Contact the Resource Centre.
