About this service
The Stopping the Violence program is under Womens Counselling at Sea to Sky Community Services. It provides lay counselling and support for women who are experiencing or who have experienced sexual assault, abuse, violence in a relationship, or childhood abuse or violence resulting in being traumatized from the experience.
In addition, an outreach worker in Whistler, Pemberton, and the First Nations communities north of Pemberton provides women who may have experienced violence or abuse in their lives with support, advocacy, accompaniment, and local transportation to medical, legal and social services.
