About this service
Having a child with autism or other additional needs puts increased pressure on a family. The stress of the childs needs, coupled with the financial stresses, plays a significant role in the challenges that families face.
Our Respite Program is able to help by providing funding to give family members a break and a rest.
Families have used the funds in a variety of ways, such as to pay for appropriate childcare, private swimming lessons, for travel to specialists or to attend BC Childrens Hospital, and to attend a conference to learn more about their childs needs. Please reach out if you think you may be eligible.
