About this service
The Infant Development Program continues to work in the home and community based environments with families of children birth to three years. The Infant Development Program helps to ameliorate parenting capacity through education and experiential learning which promotes physical, intellectual and social development in young children. IDP community based programs promote positive parent child interactions and assist communities in developing the capacity and resources to support children and families. Prevention and early identification of developmental delays are an important focus of the Infant Development Program. IDP uses a collaborative approach with other community partners to provide programming which strengthens families, and provides opportunities to build positive relationships. Communities served with the Bulkley Valley. Funded by the Ministry of Children and Family Development.
Who can use it?
Parents can refer their child birth to three years.

BVCDC - Infant Development Program (IDP) is open Monday to Friday 9:00am 4:30pm.
