About this service
Case management is provided to WorkBC clients who are assessed as requiring more intensive services and supports to meet their employment objectives. Individuals identified as potentially needing case management services, are offered a formal needs assessment to determine if case management is beneficial for them.
The case management process involves:
- Assessing a clients employment readiness and specific employment-related needs
- Assisting the client to identify a realistic and achievable employment goal(s)
- Develop a mutually agreed upon action plan that supports the client
- Providing employment counselling, services, and financial supports
- Connecting a client with community supports and services
- Supporting and monitoring the client as they progress through their action plan
- Job coaching and retention service
Available case managed services:
- Job development services
- Customized employment development services
- Unpaid work experience placements
- Wage Subsidy work experience placements
