About this organization
St Andrews Abbeyfield is a volunteer led non-profit society that has been providing affordable housing for independent seniors in Sidney since 1987. Nine residents live in this lovely spacious home, accommodated in their own comfortable bed sitting rooms with two piece ensuite and furnished with their own things. Each room has its own small garden patio. All residents share the remainder of the house, just like a family. They enjoy home cooked, nutritious meals together, prepared by the house manager, who also attends to the daily running of the house. Abbeyfield is a well established, small scale, affordable family style option for independent seniors.
