About this service
Sometimes we need a friend. Whether you are dealing with a life threatening illness, need support as you care for someone who is dying, or are grieving the loss of someone you love, Coast Hospice can provide you with volunteer companionship.
Our volunteers are trained to listen actively and compassionately, without judgement, to support you in difficult times. We also offer vigils, and day and night companionship if requested and available, as a person nears the last few days of life.
