About this service
The Youth Outreach program works to increase youth safety by connecting and referring youth to local resources, focusing on risk reduction and providing the community with a broader understanding of youth issues. This program is coordinated in partnership with Gibsons, Roberts Creek, Sechelt, and Pender Harbour Community Schools. Referrals are not required. The program is free and confidential. What the program offers This program works to increase youth safety and community integration by connecting and referring youth to local resources, focusing on risk reduction, and providing the community with a broader understanding of youth issues. The program is open to youth aged 12-23 yrs. We connect youth to local resources that offer info on: Drug and alcohol awareness Sexual health Employment Housing Youth events and spaces You will find us out and about in the community (beaches, shopping malls, skate parks and community centres) looking to help answer any questions and making sure youth are safe.
