About this service
Counselling services are provided for children and youth (ages 3 -18) who have witnessed and / or experienced abuse, threats, or violence in the home.
The Prevention, Education, Advocacy, Counselling and Empowerment (PEACE) program for Children and Youth Experiencing Violence (formerly Children Who Witness Abuse Program) is a free, confidential program across BC for children and youth aged 3 to 18 who have experienced violence against women.
Understanding the impact of power imbalances in our society is a central approach to working with the families that access this service. This includes education about the direct impact on those who live in an environment where they witness threats, abuse or violence against women and children.
