About this service
This community based service focuses on prevention and building parental capacity. Participation is voluntary for parents and caregivers of children and youth (ages 0-19).
Individual counsellors work with the goal of assisting and supporting parental competency and strengthening family life, leading to healthy child and family development.
Groups are available on a regular basis to support parenting skills and promote understanding of healthy family relationships.
Family Support Services is a self-referral program. Parents can call the phone line at 604-885-5881 ext. 250. An intake counsellor will return their call to begin the process of planning services.
