About this service
This community based service focuses on prevention and building parental capacity. Participation is voluntary for parents and caregivers of children and youth (ages 0-19). What you can expect from the program Individual counsellors work with the goal of assisting and supporting parental competency and strengthening family life, leading to healthy child and family development. Groups are available on a regular basis to support parenting skills and promote understanding of healthy family relationships. How you can take part Family Support Services is a self-referral program. Parents can call the phone line at 604-885-5881 ext. 250. An intake counsellor will return their call to begin the process of planning services.
