This is a free and confidential program providing support to survivors ages 1324 of sexual assault, sexual abuse and sexual harassment. We provide support to survivors ages 1324 of sexual assault, sexual abuse and sexual harassment. The Community-Based Victim Services Youth Outreach worker conducts outreach, prevention and education to youth, Indigenous youth and non-binary youth through engagement with local high schools, shshlh Nation, Vancouver Coastal Health (hospital and youth clinics), RCMP, MCFD and Youth centres. Our service is confidential and supports survivors of all gender identity. What you can expect from the program We will listen to you and believe you. If you have been a victim of sexual assault, sexual abuse and sexual harassment, we provide free confidential support, information and referrals. Our service is available to victims/survivors, whether or not you choose to report to the police. Our support is based on what you want to do. You are supported to make your own choices. We can suggest options or ideas that are available to you in your particular situation. We can provide you with information about your case from the police and the court system regarding your situation. We can advocate for and/or accompany you to appointments with the police, court system, government, medical services and others. We can attend court appearances and give you updates on whats happening with your case.
