About this organization
Our community donates goods to the shop generously and faithfully. As a result our task of sorting and pricing is never ending. It takes many hands to keep on top of the work. As much as possible we recycle items that we cant use.
Items Accepted at Sunshine Coast Healthcare Auxiliary Thrift Shop:
- Clothing , all clean, usable clothes and shoes
- Craft and knitting supplies
- Pictures, lamps and lighting supplies
- Housewares including dishes, glasses, ornaments, etc.
- Small appliances, small working radios
- Curtains, bedding, towels, etc.
- Luggage and sports equipment (not sports safety equipment)
- Jewelry and collectibles
- Books need to be fairly recent, in good shape and mold free, no stinky books!
- Magazines can only be a maximum of 2 years old preferably unless they are collectible
- Luggage, golf bags and hand bags
- Electronics
Items Not Accepted at Sunshine Coast Healthcare Auxiliary Thrift Shop:
- Childrens equipment such as cribs, highchairs, strollers, baby car seats
- Furniture of any kind
