About this organization
Baris Charitable Foundation was founded by our family to create a legacy in giving and love while supporting causes we believe in. Over the years since inception, the Foundation has supported many groups such as the Canadian Cancer Society Cops for Cancer for pediatric research, Sunshine Coast Dance Society, Gibsons Public Market, The Nutcracker, SD46, Habitat for Humanity Sunshine Coast, Sunshine Coast Festival of the Written Arts, Sechelt Hospital Foundation, BC Childrens Hospital, SCCSS, BCSPCA, and many more. Funds we use to support groups are limited, thus we are compelled to be quite selective. While Baris is 99% funded solely by our family, any donation to our foundation is greatly appreciated and will receive a taxable donation receipt. Although small, we take pride in making a difference in people's lives one penny at a time.
