About this service
The overall goal of the SAIP is to provide a range of appropriate, timely and accessible assessment, treatment and/or support services to children and youth who have been sexually abused. The most common strategies and models of intervention utilized in this program include art therapy, play therapy, educational techniques and information giving, and other therapeutic modalities. Additionally SAIP will work with families, provide consultation and make referrals to other agencies where necessary.
