About this service
The Child and Youth Mental Health Outreach Program provides hands-on intensive treatment and support to children/youth and their families suffering significant distress due to the young persons mental health issues. This service is an extension of the services provided by the CYMH clinician and is a collaborative effort of services and resources to maximize the benefits to the families served. There is a broad range of treatment options available depending on the issues and needs presented by the child and their family. Referrals are made through the Child and Youth Mental Health Team or directly through the Shuswap Family Resource Centre.
