About this service

This program provides professional development for a career in supporting students with diverse needs. This course provides learners with in-depth information on common special needs problems. It provides teachers with a variety of strategies used to support students with specific disabilities and disorders and the academic, physical, social, and emotional implications.

The basic theory program is designed for those who are currently working with children or with RA certificate or EA diploma; and would like to be trained to work with special needs students. The practicum component will allow students to gain useful insights on teaching theory in practice.
