About this service
This course provides comprehensive training, ensuring quality child care and the successful management of a Family Child Care Business. This course offers a certificate of completion that is recognized by the Community Care Facilities Licensing as part of the Licensing process for Family Childcare as well as the 20hr Responsible Adult qualification in BC.
After studying this course students should be able to:
Understand their role as a quality child care provider, preparing them for work as a child care provider, opening a daycare business,
Create a framework for planning and routines and schedules
Understand the guidelines and resources for inspiring and providing developmentally appropriate experiences for children
Demonstrate a good understanding of policies and practices required to ensure childrens dignity, health, safety, and nutrition needs
