About this organization
The Richmond Food Bank is a dynamic hub that connects people, food, and services that are essential to health and well-being the hallmark of a caring community. The Richmond Food Bank gives healthy and nutritionally-balanced food to more than 2200 people in a typical week, providing Richmond residents with healthy food choices and connecting our clients to services that address the root causes of poverty.
To collect food, you need:
- ID for everyone in your household who needs food. This can be a drivers license, BCID, passport, Care Card, or Birth Certificate.
- Proof that you live in Richmond, such as a recently dated piece of mail, letter from a community or governmental agency, or rental receipt. You must bring your proof of address every time you pick up food
- Your own grocery bags
