About this service
The Revelstoke Womens Shelter Society is a non-profit society which provides a safe space, care and support to abused women (and their children) in the community of Revelstoke.
The Revelstoke Womens Shelter Society exists to offer support, assistance, information and referrals in a courteous and compassionate manner that respects the dignity, privacy, culture and diversity of women and children who are victims of abuse.
The Society established the Forsythe House as a safe home to provide women and their children with temporary shelter during their transition. The Board of Directors and Staff of the Society work in a non-judgemental manner to support these families while they make a decision to return home or seek alternate and safe options.
