About this organization
The Revelstoke Idea Factory is a non-profit initiative that was started as a way of ensuring Revelstokes entrepreneurs, inventors and youth have the opportunity to access the equipment they need to design and produce new products. Imagine a room full of the latest and greatest manufacturing technology: laser cutters, 3D scanners, plastic and resin 3D printers, powerful laptops stuffed with the latest software and more.
The Revelstoke Idea Factory offers affordable youth camps that teach STEM skills to children and youth giving them basic understanding og IT skills.
The Revelstoke Idea Factory, formed in 2018 by community members involved in the technology sector, was launched with a grant of $100,000 through Rural Dividend and matched by additional funding from the CSRD.
