About this service
Axis Staffed Homes are currently located in the communities of Kamloops, Cranbrook, Salmon Arm, Vernon, Kelowna, Penticton, Quesnel, Prince George, Dawson Creek and Fort St. John. The resources are homes in pleasant neighbourhoods and are not identifiable in those communities. In these homes, we have staff on duty 24/7 with various kinds of shifts according to program needs. Our staff are equipped with training and education to work as part of the dynamic teams that develop care plans for each child, youth, or adult. These front-line staff are supported by our leadership teams in each community, as well as agency-wide supports. These staff are unionized employees, and are pre-screened through MCFDs Hub prior to working in our homes.
