About this service
This program provides support and education to MCFD Foster Parents who live in Quesnel, Prince George, and other smaller communities in the North Central region. Our Foster Parent Support and Training Facilitators provide on-going and crisis support to foster parents, as well as mandatory and other training for foster parents once they are providing care for children and youth. The support and training offered by our program assists foster parents to provide the best care possible to children and youth in care. Our program offers an opportunity for foster parents to connect with one another as well, for mutual support and learning.
