About this service
Boys or girls may be members between ages 11-15. Their motto is "Be Prepared". The emphasis is on small group training through youth leadership in outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, canoeing and backpacking. Small groups called Patrols of 6 to 8 members are led by a Patrol Leader whose responsibility it is for discipline, activity planning and training their Patrol members. The Troop is made up of two to four Patrols and is governed by the Court of Honour.
