About this service
Our Quesnel Branch has a long history within the company. In the early years, 1992 and for the next several years, we developed a large network of specialized supportive housing in partnership with MCFD. These were parent counsellor resources, with sub-contracted caregivers providing care for children and adolescents with various needs and challenges. Fast forward to today, and our approximately 35 staff members provide specialized supportive housing (staffed resources) for adults and youth, a range of support services for children, youth, families and foster parents, including different family strengthening services, services for children and youth with special needs, child and youth mental health services, and Phase II supports for youth in care who are reaching adulthood. Our Quesnel team includes front-line staff who work in specialized supportive housing and community-based support positions, local leadership, and an administrative support staff member.
