About this service
Safe Families extends community support to families-in-crisis by hosting their children in safe families and offering support through volunteers.
Many families are experiencing difficulties such as financial problems, homelessness and unemployment. And due to migration and changes in society many of these families find themselves with no one to turn to for support. This is where Safe Families can help We have Host Families who provide a loving sanctuary where parents can safely place their children in times of crisis allowing them time to get back on their feet. Other volunteers extend the community safety net for these families by connecting them to resources and other supports.
