About this service
Physiotherapists work with clients and their families using an evidence-based approach. The primary goal of physiotherapy is to assess and help to improve a childs development of movement and posture. Together with the child and the childs family or caregivers, and other service providers, the physiotherapist will assess each child in order to determine goals and strategies that address the childs needs and abilities.
Our physiotherapists education training and clinical experience provides expertise in the following areas:
- Gross motor development of infant and child large movements such as rolling, jumping, climbing stairs
- Orthopedics muscle or joint problems
- Neurology
- Use positioning techniques and equipment to improve or maintain joint, bone and muscle health
- Orthotics and specialized equipment
