About this service
Preschool with an early intervention program that addresses the spiritual, emotional, intellectual, and physical needs of Aboriginal children ages three to five. Parents or other caregivers participate in programs, including Carrier culture and language curriculum, health promotion, nutrition, and social support. Fosters a strong sense of identity and prepares children for the structures and routines of kindergarten. Supports parents and extended families in their role as the prime teachers of their children, and works closely with other community programs and services. Transportation assistance is available.
