About this service
Skills Highway is funded by the Government of Canada and the Province of BC. The Skills Highway program is a FREE individualized program for job seekers facing challenges or limitations in securing employment. The program covers a territory roughly along Highway 16 from McBride, Valemount and Blue River to Haida Gwaii, including Kitimat; and from Quesnel to Mackenzie.
The purpose of this program is to aid individuals in overcoming barriers that are preventing them from obtaining long-term employment. The Skills Highway program offers one-on-one Coaching to identify the needs of each individual and work with them to create a customized plan to gain the required skills and assets to obtain the type of employment that suits their needs.
