HIV and HCV Specialized Support Team

Provides free specialized support for individuals living with HIV or HCV (Hepatitis C). Support team consists of a nurse practitioner, social worker, and pharmacist. Services include connection to peer support, harm reduction services, and HIV testing; opioid agonist treatment; provision of temporary primary care; optimizing, accessing, and managing medications; optimizing nutrition; advocacy; and help in accessing community resources. Referral accepted from self or other. Also provides clinical guidance and educational sessions to build community agencies and primary care providers' capacity to treat and support people living with HIV/HCV. Serves the Northern Health region. Hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Fax: 1 (844) 440-4454.
