About this service
Carrier Sekani Family Services has recently opened up a clinic in Prince George called Yu Be-yah which means Medicine House in Carrier language. The clinic was created to meet the primary care needs of Indigenous peoples living in Prince George who do not have a primary care provider. Yu Be-Yah is staffed by two family nurse practitioners that provide comprehensive clinical care including the diagnosis and management of disease/illness, prescribing medications, ordering/interpreting laboratory/diagnostic tests, and initiating referrals to specialists.
