About this service

THE PROGRAM
Being in the hospital can be painful and stressful, especially for people who are far away from their family and home. The Aboriginal Patient Liaison Worker liaises between communities and the hospital healthcare staff to help facilitate healing. If transferred to another hospital, please let the Aboriginal Patient Liaison Worker know so the information can be passed on to the hospital you are going to so they are aware you will be arriving.
