About this organization
The association's mandate is to bring together all individuals who speak French in order to promote the French language, culture and heritage. In addition, the association wants to give Francophones and Francophiles access to quality activities and services that allow them to flourish in French and contribute to the advancement of the Francophonie.
According to Statistics Canada's 2011 census, there are approximately 4,200 French-speaking citizens in the Prince George region and that there is a community of approximately 1,200 Francophones. Since its existence, the Cercle des Canadiens Franais has not stopped developing and its growth has occurred due to the collaboration of several stakeholders and organizations, and also the support of its members.
