About this organization
The Prince George Humane Society is a community based, registered charity that provides a safe haven for abused, neglected and abandoned animals in Northern British Columbia; also focusing our resources on providing programs and services to rural and First Nation communities. We also provide the community with education programs and services to encourage the humane treatment of all animals and promote responsible pet ownership.
Our Adoption and Humane Education Center is open for or regular operating hours. For groups of over 5 people, we please ask that you make an appointment prior to arriving to ensure we stay within our occupancy limits. Appointments can be made by texting 250 640 7415 or through Facebook. We ask all visitors to wear masks when entering our facility and to respect the physical distancing recommendations.
