About this organization
Community Corrections Division probation officers believe offenders have the capacity to change. They use communication skills, problem-solving strategies and risk assessment techniques to help offenders learn better ways of responding to the world around them.
The goal of corrections case management is to reduce reoffending and increase public safety by changing the behaviour of offenders who are under court-ordered supervision in the community. Case management uses strategies shown to reduce reoffending through research.
