About this service
Powell River Immigrant Services provides free services and programs that support the integration of newcomers to Canadian living in our community, including ESL tutoring, community connections, information, and help accessing other services. PRIS provides ESL tutoring, Parents' Group, and Conversation Club; offers community orientation sessions and workshops; bridges resources for community services; and hosts cultural celebrations and social events. Our services are delivered out of our beautiful qathet Welcome Centre in suite 218 above the public library.
