About this service
Supporting Older Adults through Recreation (SOAR) provides recreational activities and social connection for seniors living in the Powell River community. Currently, our SOAR program is offered online. We have a limited number of tablets available to lend to participants who may need one, and can assist with paying for internet installation at your house so that you may participate. Our staff and volunteers will help you get comfortable using a tablet to access our online programs. Our program offers online Exercise activities, like chair yoga Cooking groups Book club Bingo And more!
